Something Colorful On My Needles

I've been slowly plugging away on this fair isle sweater for the past 2 weeks.
I just want the pure joy of knitting without planning, and for once to knit a sweater for myself not thinking about pattern. I'm adding motif from several sources as I go, and deciding on colors on impulse.  I do like the fact that it's not too harmonious or "tasteful" of color combos.  All the color yarns are leftovers. I calculated the neck stitches but made calculations for increase as I knit for the round yoke style. It's fun but slow going... Not sure if fair isle will only be for yoke or more, depending on my stamina.
